Co2 diffusers and reactors

Co2 diffusers and reactors are used to get CO 2 dissolved in the water of your aquarium. There are many
diffrent types commercially available as well as DIY types or co2 reactors. The general principal is to get the CO2 to have as long a contact as possible with the water to give it time to dissolve. It is done in a few ways some of them quite complex others as simple as an upside down collection bowl or dome under the water that the gas will stay in till dissolved. Others use air type stones or power heads that that the gas is bubbled through to try and get a high contact with the aquarium water. We offer the more co2 devices for the planted tank than any other aquarium supplier. Co2 keeps algae in check and encourages accelerated growth in freshwater planted aquariums. Aqualine Buschke membrane reactor double, CO2 4 chamber

Aqualine Buschke membrane reactor double, CO2. The Aqualine Buschke CO2 reactor does not dispense CO2 as a gas bubble into the water. It is rather diffused through the membrane tube directly into the water. The membrane tube consists of a special material which lets gas but no water through. This acts simultaneously as a check valve. The CO2 gas gets through the tube and dissolves on its surface directly in the water. Double reactor good for aquariums up to 100 gallons.
