Replacement Ballast

Replacing your nano cube ballast is an easy task.

Please read our new notes though about the changes in the nano cube ballasts as some of them have a new design that may require replacing your hood lighitng sustem and your ballast.  This only affects the 12 deluce nanocube and the 24 currently.  Have fun illuminating your saltwater tank.

If your ald nano cube ballast has kicked the bucket replacing it is pretty easy.  For the 6 gallon tank it is a few wires and you should be up and ready in no time and your tank should have light again.

If your lighting system when out in your tank  you must read this.  This applys to marine , saltwater, and freshwater tanks.

This is the newly designed nano cube ballast and will not work with older hoods imported after AUG 08  If your old Hood or ballast went out andit was made before then you will need to replace BOTH This unit is for the Nano Cube with 2 x 24 Watt  Aquarium Bulbs replacement for the DELUXE nanocube that has

(2) Two 24 WATT power compact bulbs.,  If your Aquarium-tank does not have this then you cannot use this.

This is the Full Replacement ballast that is for the 24 gallon nano cube aquarium.   This Replaces old 2x36 watt units.

You must have2x 36 Watt PC Power Compact bulbs in your existing  hood for Ballast to work.

If you do not it will not work.

Simple to use just remove old unit and plug in the new,
