JBJ has MAde us happy with this one and shown us the Future. The generation in HQI Clamp on Lamp fixtures with metal halide HQI lighting. The K-2 Viper Deluxe incorporates a larger reflector which houses an intense 150 watt or 250 watt metal halide light for daytime viewing, along with (2) integrated Nite Vu LED moonlights for after hours illumination. All models are equipped with a directional fan motor to cool off the light fixture as well as the surface of the water with a convenient 2 speed fan control located at the remote ballast.

The K-2 Viper Deluxe will virtually fit on any size aquarium. Great for nano aquariums individually, or larger aquariums in 2 foot series. Our unique design allows you to angle the light right where you need it most. With 3 separate adjustment knobs, you can configure the way you deem most fitting for your live inhabitants’ lighting needs.
You’ll enjoy rhythmic shimmering throughout the tank and intensified light output for SPS, CLAMS, and LPS corals.
The high velocity fan motor easily cools off the fixture and puts you in control with 2 speed settings that can be set from 105 & 163 CFM ratings. You can even turn it completely off if you desire.
The Nite Vu LEDs are integrated under the height adjustment arm which adds a beautiful nite-time shimmer for after hours viewing.
Double ended HQI metal halide fixtures produce a tremendous amount of light output for demanding corals and casts shimmering sparkling rays on the fish, corals, water, and bottom floor of your aquarium substrate.
We offer the fixtures in a 150 watt HQI and 250 watt version to adapt to almost any possible aquarium set up imaginable.
We recommend using 1 fixture for ever 2 feet of length of aquarium and works great on the nano cube
The 150 watt version is adequate for aquariums up to 18” in depth, while the 250 watt version metal halide is recommended for tanks 18”-30” in depth.

TheViper K-2has an Integrated fan has a CFM rating of 105 (Low Setting) & 163 (High setting) to exhaust heat from the fixture and the aquarium. The switch is labeled “L” and “H” to the corresponding air flow rates. You can also turn off the fan by leaving the switch in the middle position.

These discreetly placed blue LED moonlights ( 2 per unit consume less than 1 watt of power, but are still strong enough to illuminate nocturnal behaviors.
Nite Vu LEDs allow you to view all the activities that occur after the HQI (daytime) lamp is turned off without disturbing any of your live inhabitants as they rest.
