JBJ 24 Gallon Nano Cube Deluxe Style Aquarium w/ LED Lighting features eight 1.3 Watt Cree LEDs. Three are 10 Kelvin and five are 20 Kelvin. These high intensity LEDs put out more than three times the power of the older power compact model while remaining cool to the touch. This luminosity is ideal for soft corals and anemones. The LEDs run cooler than compact fluorescent lights, which means less evaporation and chance your tank will overheat. The canopy still houses built in cooling fans that draw air out of the canopy to lower heat generated by the tanks and to manage the dampness. LEDs will also save on electricity and bulb replacement costs. While compact fluorescent bulbs need to replaced every year due to diminished light output, LED output will not diminish for ten years.
